Looking for art therapy and mental health counselling support for your child or teen?

Are you looking for a warm, creative, trauma-informed counsellor for your child or teen?

Does your child need support with:

  • emotional regulation and managing big feelings?

  • anxiety, stress, or life transitions?

  • confidence, self-esteem, and identity development?

  • building resilience and healthy coping skills?

  • processing difficult experiences through creative expression?

I offer child and youth counselling in Victoria, BC, including art therapy, expressive arts therapy, and play-based therapeutic support for children and adolescents. My approach helps young people explore emotions, strengthen self-awareness, develop resilience, and build a positive sense of identity in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship.

With over 20 years of experience working with children and youth through arts-based learning, along with more than 4 years providing mental health counselling and therapeutic support, I integrate creativity, attachment-informed practice, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to meet each young person where they are.

Art therapy and creative counselling can be especially helpful for children and teens who may find it difficult to express their thoughts and feelings through words alone. Through art, play, storytelling, and other expressive approaches, young people can develop emotional awareness, nervous system regulation, confidence, and new ways of coping.
